William Shakespeare Biography : I am sure you know the writer of love story tragedy Romeo and Juliet who is very famous. Yes, I mean William Shakespeare. He was born in Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire, England, April 26, 1564, he often referred to as one of greatest poets of England.

When Shakespeare was a child, a new public school started in the UK. Of course Shakespeare went to one of these new public schools. He studied Latin, a language of all intelligentsia. Then Shakespeare also studied the works of writer and philosopher of ancient Greece and Rome.

Shakespeare’s hobby for reading books that contain stories from many places and countries later became the beginning of his becoming a writer, because those stories became the basis of his biggest stories.

Very coincidence that Shakespeare lived in era of Renaissance which means “rebirth” that occurred in 15th century until 17th century in Europe. At that time there was movement of revival of interest in art, music, and architecture. The theater houses built in London; those theaters are a popular place which visited by public.

In the early year 1590, William Shakepseare has become a dramatist and actor in London. In addition, he also has a section of home theater where he and his friends play. In addition to Romeo and Juliet, Shakespeare’s major works include Julius Caesar, Hamlet, Othello, Macbeth and King Lear.
Within a period of twenty years that have special meaning, Shakespeare lived in London, his wife remained in Stratford. Shakespeare died in 1616 at about 52nd years old. He had no children who were alive at that time.

He wrote about 38 plays of tragedy, comedy, history, and 154 sonatas, 2 narrative poems, and other poems. His work has been translated in almost all languages in the world and performed on stage more than any other dramatist. Not only that, even some of them filmed.

The strength of Shakespeare in terms of summarizing the verses really could not compare and his sentences are often cited, even by people who never even see the stuff or read his dramas. Shakespeare’s will continue to fame for next centuries. He’s really well known figure in the world.
